Sat here with a bottle of Hp 12 love the balance of light smoke and sweetness the Heather shines through  any similar suggestions would be appreciated on a budget so £50 tops any suggestions welcome |

| Have a look at Springbank 10 year old if you can get a hold of it, Clynelish 14 year old or Benriach 10 |

| Yes, all of the above, to which I would also add Benromach. The 10 year-old, 100 Degrees Proof and 15 year old are all excellent. |
