Gordon & MacPhail has announced the release of Glen Grant 1948 70 year old, the oldest expression ever released from the Speyside distillery.
The G & M Private Collection Glen Grant 1948 Cask 2154 was distilled on 11 June 1948, six years before barley rationing restrictions were lifted following the war. Matured for 70 years in a first fill Sherry butt which produced 210 decanters.

The question is - would you think on taste alone it is worth it?
