Loch Lomond Group has launched the Littlemill 40 Year Old Celestial Edition in the UK, the oldest expression ever to be released from the now lost Littlemill distillery.

In 2017 Cadenhead also did a 40 year old Littlemill, that was considered overpriced at 600 euro.
I expect this is better but is £6000 really justified when you look at what the Cadenhead 40 year was put out at?

That seems to be the price range now for original distillery bottlings of this age and I am sure the companies selling the whisky know there are people who would be willing to part with this kind of money and at the end of the day it is a business so why wouldn't they ask for what some are willing to pay.

I suppose the proof is in the pudding, if any actually get opened that is?
It will be interesting what any reviews are like?
