Just catching up on things now as I was away for a long weekend, I received word of a new peated sherried whisky from Benromach last week,The Benromach Peat Smoke Sherry Cask Matured is the first peated sherry cask matured single malt from the Benromach distillery, a limited release expression of 6,500 bottles.
Created using heavily peated Scottish barley, it has been matured in First Fill Sherry hogsheads which were laid down in 2010 before being bottled at a cask strength of 59.9% ABV in 2018

| There were a few bottles in Royal Mile Whiskies today. But I couldn't pull the trigger at £61 without seeing a few reviews first. |
