| I believe the Macallan edition no.5 is on the way but I couldn't say how soon. |

According to sources I have read the Macallan Edition No.5 will be bottled at 48.5% ABV and is expected to be released around August in line with earlier editions.
To quote what apparently will be on the label: | Quote: | | "This limited edition whisky celebrates the Macallan’s spectrum of natural colour which has inspired the world-renowned pantone color institute to create a unique and exquisitely complex shade" |

| You have got to laugh at the marketing when they describe the colour as complex and fail to mention what the whisky tastes like. Having said that the Macallan Edition series has been very good so far, so I am not knocking it, I guess this type of marketing isn't aimed at knowledgeable whisky drinkers such as the members of this forum. |
