Happy world whisky day, anyone doing/drinking anything special? Just finished my bottle of good old laga 16 and and having a springbank 12 CS.

I have a bottle of Benromach Sassicaia Wood Finish 2011 to open tonight and no doubt I will have one or two other pours of something from my whisky cupboard.

Ending World Whisky Day with a dram of the excellent Benriach Cask Strength Batch 2, had some Glen Grant 18 and Glenfiddich 19 Age of Discovery Madeira Cask Finish earlier tonight, Slainte

I was never sure if this World Whisky Day really caught on or not, anyway I am happy to celebrate it, I have been dramming the malty Glen Moray 12 and I am now sipping on some Glendronach 15

I went for Morrison and Mackay 'Black Gold' North British1995. Delicious.
