Hi just a quick question does anybody know how many bottles they are due to release of the MacAllan Estate 2019.

I thought that the Macallan Estate was part of their core range so there isn't a limit on bottles available.

HN seem to charge a premium for it, retail price was supposed to be Â£195.

Yes now out of stock. I just thought I'd grab it while I could wasn't sure how hard it would be to get hold of I think after the rush when it's fully released should be ok stock wise.

There is stock available on Whisky World - not sure how long it will last. good think is it is not marked up like HN.

The dozen on Whisky Auctioneer averaged around Â£440. But the the buyers may well not have access to retail bottles like we enjoy.

Guys... this is a core range product. These will not sell out forever and is not a limited edition. Stop paying over retail price. If it's out of stock now it won't be soon.

Can anyone show where it says this is a core range bottling? I think the Macallan Estate Reserve is core range, but I'm not sure about the Macallan Estate. The whisky shop states the following:

'This limited edition expression from The Macallan has been produced with a portion of whisky distilled from barley grown on The Macallan's home of Easter Elchies Estate. Matured exclusively in sherry seasoned butts and hogsheads, this expression is presented in a beautiful case with aerial photography of the barley fields surrounding the new Â£140 million distillery.'

Also, of course they're not going to market it as core, that'll bring the price down.
