I've been lucky enough to get a ticket for the Whisky Fringe this weekend. One thing I like about this festival is that they give you the list of whiskies that will be available in advance:

I'm not one for just going for the most expensive/oldest whisky, rather interesting drams that I won't have come across before.
I was hoping some of you fellow enthusiasts could point me to some interesting whiskies or distillers I should try.
Many thanks folks. |

I like to use events like this mainly to sample what I haven't yet tasted.
With a quick glance at the list I would be looking to sample the age statement Balblair offerings which I haven't tried yet.
I would stop by the Glenallachie stall to sample what they have to offer as I haven't tried their new whiskies.
Perhaps the Jura 18 and 21
The indie stalls are always worth checking out as you can find some hidden gems which usually by the time you have read rave reviews on them they have sold out. |
