Over in the Canaries, noticed a bottle of batch 2 - I think - Springbank CV for €39.99. A good drinker, yay or nay and good value yay or nay? Cheers 👍🏻

It is ok for that price, not a great Springbank, very light ashy earthy smoke, plenty of caramel. It wouldn't be a repeat buy for me but I have had a bottle and moved on.

Not as good as the Springbank 10 not good for the price you quote
