Did Santa bring you any whisky?
Which was your favorite one?
I had a bottle of Paul John 2019 Christmas that I hadn't tried before and I absolutely love it. |

| I was pleasantly surprised by The Whisky Exhcange's Christmas Malt - a 10 year old Linkwood. While by no means Christmassy (if you associate Christmas with heavily sherried and/or 'spicy' whisky) it's very well made, a cross between the fruity Speyside and austere Highland style. I was also given a Glengoyne 21, but to be honest so far I've been enjoying the more humble Linkwood more. |

I recieived a membership to the SMWS with the pioneer pack which includes 3 200ml bottles that I'm quite excited to sample.
Also tickets to a couple of tastings coming up in Manchester which sound like fun. |

Very nice both of you.
It's my birthday today and the lads at work clubbed together and got me a bottle of the astounding Tweeddale Evolution 28 year old. One of the best drinks I've ever had.
Another mate got me a lovely Mackmyra Vintersol. |

As a winter drink I think it is fantastic, so rich and really fruity, and has a great nose to it, I know everyone has a different palate but have had 3 Bottles of this and still come back to it after Yamazaki 12 became too expensive as an everyday Whisky |

I was gifted a bottle of Glenfarclas 2009/2019 Christmas edition, PX cask from Germany.
For a young GF it's certainly very good! |
