Hi,
I've been lucky enough to inherit 3 bottles of whiskey.
Can anyone help me with a valuation to see if they are worth selling? Bottles 1 & 2 were bottled by Wm. Cadenhead in similar bottles with similar labels.
Bottle 1 - Caperdonich, Pure Malt, distilled October 1965 bottled 1977, 12 years old.
Bottle 2 - Convalmore - Glenlivet, Pure Malt, distilled 1962 bottled 1979, 16 years old.
Bottle 3 - Glenburgie, whiskey distilled in 1948 and 1961, bottled in 1981 by Gordon & MacPhail, " A special vatting to commemorate the marriage of HRH he Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer on 29th July 1981".
Thank you for any help you can give me . Maybe they are worth little and perhaps I should be thinking of drinking them instead |

Hi Norland and welcome to the forum
That is some little collection of whisky you have there. They will certainly be worth a few pound but i wouldnt like to misguide you and say how much but i would recommend finding out how much before cracking them open.
Have you tried contacting The Whisky Exchange they buy rare and collectable whisky as well as sell it. Another option is contacting one of the big auctions who specialise in whisky such as Bonhams in Edinburgh. You can contact Bonhams via there website and they offer free valuations with a view to selling. Remember whoever you contact, give them all the info off the label and also photos are very useful.
Hope I have helped.
