Okay I have just got my hands on a bottle of Wee Beastie 5 year old and a bottle of the 10 year old. I was just doing a side by side tasting and I have some really interesting flavours going on in my mouth which I love!

I am just wondering what your thoughts are of both and also which are you liking the most? given they are just about the same price.

The 10 is so balanced so it got to be the better! I’d love to be wrong, but I’m going to sit back and watch this evolve,

I have yet to try the Wee Beastie but given its price point I am hoping it is good as I will always welcome a decent smoky/peaty whisky at a drammable price point

Nothing will beat the 10 ever! But I am in the look out for a 5 yo which I think will suit ardbeg.

There is a little whisky shop I know in Germany and they just happened to list it as I was looking at what they had coming in.

They had 12 listed in stock so I got 2 and I had a look 2 hours later and they where all gone. But it does seem strange living in the UK ordering Scottish whisky (made about 350 miles from me) and ordering there whisky from Germany that I can not get here..

My fear with the Wee Beastie is that it will push up the price of the 10 year old.
