World Whisky Day falls tomorrow Saturday May 16th. It was founded in 2012 and falls on the third Saturday of May each year.
World Whisky Day invites everyone to raise a dram and celebrate the water of life. Things may be a little different this year but that's all the more reason to mark the occasion and raise a glass to all we still have to be thankful for.
Tune in to this thread Saturday to see what everyone on our Forum is choosing to celebrate with. I'm already checking through my inventory/collection to see what I'll have for the occasion.
Cheers,

Later today on the occasion of World Whisky Day, I will have Bowmore The Devil's Casks 10 Year 56.9% ABV (the very first release) which today is as scarce as hen's teeth. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Raising a dram of the Glendronach 21 for World Whisky Day at the moment.
I posted a article on the #PassTheDram initiative running from today on social media and posted a video here: http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/passthedramworldwhiskyday.htm

Just poured my Devil's Casks 10 first edition and toast all Forum members with special and honorable mention to the Forum's William and John ( the former being the Administrator and the latter, the Moderator, respectively) i.e., the Captain and his First Mate that keep us on course, sailing with the wind on a sunny day, metaphorically speaking.
Cheers,
Murray
P.S.
Here's a picture of me in front of the Round Church in Bowmore on Islay last June which has a story line with this whisky.

| As it’s world whiskey day I thought a Angels Envy bourbon would be appropriate. |
