Hey there

This is something I have been thinking about trying over the last few months and the newest thing I have been wondering is how would this bottle of Bowmore 18 that I have in front of me work with with a wee drop of the new Ardbeg wee beaste added to it?

So I am wondering if you have tried your own blended drams and if so what do you think worked?

I have played about a bit, usually with bottles coming to an end, in general blending sherried or wine influenced whiskies with peaty whiskies works for my tastes. I always enjoyed a 50/50 blend of Ardbeg 10 and Aberlour 10 but it has been a while since I have done that, probably because Aberlour 10 seems to have disappeared from most shelves, not sure if it is discontinued.

Recently I mixed some Wild Turkey 101 (50%) with some Laphroaig Quarter Cask (20%) and Glengoyne 12 (30%) it worked out ok I thought
