What are peoples thoughts on the Whiskybase?
Do you use it and what about the values? I have put some of my collection on there and some of the values it has for the bottles seem really high to me.

This is very true and very often you have the usual supects of shops who charge far too much and because of that, they are the only ones who have a bottle sell a bottle so that is what the price shown will be.
The other issues is that that in the last few years loads of bottle pushers have joined with a financial angle and very often put fake high rates on the system. To be fair WB Admin try very hard to sort this out, but whisky investors have ruined things in my view.
It is still by far the best source of whisky information out there though, and personally I do not understand why people generally are obsessed with value? _________________ Pour me a glass please.
