Evening all,

I’m looking to buy a bottle for an important birthday present, but stumped on what to get. The person isn’t a fan of smoke or peat, and I really want to get the best tasting whisky I can... I know it’s all subjective stuff, but any opinions on your best tasting ( non peated ) bottles? Budget here is up to £150.

Thanks

DF

Hi, he’s a fan of the Midleton Very Rare, likes more fruity tones, also his favourite recently was a 25yr old Bowmore. Found the same bottle recently, but it was suffering from the 80’s palma violet twang!

Thanks

I would suggest Glen Grant 18 and they have a gift pack available at TWE at the moment https://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/p/41613/glen-grant-18-year-old-2-glasses-pack

Glenfarclas 25 is a steal at £100. Well under budget as well!

Brilliant thank you, will narrow these down. Got some scope here.
