Highland Park has announced the addition of the first ever cask strength expression to their core range, the Highland Park Cask Strength Release No.1. The new whisky is a marriage of first fill American oak ex-sherry and refill casks of various ages.
This first release has been bottled at 63.3% ABV and has a RRP of £60

I won`t be buying it because their core range has dropped off so much in quality in the last 5 years, so, merely not watering it down will not improve the quality unfortunately. _________________ Pour me a glass please. |

| I am more than happy to give it a try, HP has varied in quality and peat levels over the years but it has never been bad. I will be adding a bottle with my next whisky order. |
