Has anyone else got an email for a 16 year old Port Charlotte ballot. Is anyone going for it? £150 for a 16 year old looks a bit dear to me, what do you guys think?

I got the email yesterday to enter the ballot, with 3000 bottles at £150 each I am not sure they will need a ballot too allocate them all, time will tell but I have gave it a miss.

The have marketed it as their Feis Ile replacement, yet go so far as to say it will not mention the festival on the bottle... as you said, it will be interesting to see if it ends up in their distillery shop for some time after.

Opened mine last night and very pleased with first impressions.
A complex and changing dram if that makes sense, and with a flavour profile quite different from my other PCs..
Might have to revisit tonight!
If any of you stumped up, hope you are pleased too.
Cheers.. |

Picked one of these up in the last Scotch Whisky auction for 130 plus fees/delivery. Rather pleased I thought I'd missed it!
