|

I was wondering what everyone has in mind for New Year's Eve drams to bring in 2021 and New Years Day drams as well. Will you be going to old favorites or gifts from the holidays?
I'm going for a few drams that I have been enjoying lately:
Caol Ila, 22 Year 2019 Feis Ils
The Macallan Classic Cut
Auchentoshan The Bartender's Malt
What do you have in mind for your drams?
Cheers and Happy New Year to all.

We couldn't get to Islay this year and just trying to bump our booking for next year to Sept from April.
So, going round the island tonight with a dram from each distillery and dreaming of better times and places.
Take care all and Happy New Year.. |

In the middle of an old sherry monster H2H, no duffers and a 72 Glengoyne and 66 Caperdonich were flawless.
I may finish it tomorrow but I will definately be having some Beromach 15 which is my bang for your buck malt at the moment.
Whatever you are drinking I wish you all well for 2021, happy dramming everyone. _________________ Pour me a glass please. |

| At some point a side by side comparison between Balvenie 15 Single Barrel Sherry Cask @ 47.5% ABV, & Blair Athol 18 Single Sherry Cask Strength @ 54.7% ABV. Have been enjoying both but haven't done a comparison. |

I ended up having a Caol Ila Feis Ils 2019 last night and John Walker & Sons Celebratory Blend, 51% ABV. We will see what today brings for my New Year's Day drams. How about you? Cheers. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Brought in 2021 with the Glenallachie distillery exclusive I picked up November'20.
It's a 2006, PX hogshead single cask #6604 at 59.4% bottled Sept'20
And its excellent 👌 |
