This is a plea for information.

Have recently come across a Cuidich 'n Righ 50yo Single Malt in a decanter.

Research-wise I have only found out that this was likely sold from The Highlanders museum at Fort George.

Anyone with knowledge of the distillery it's from or when this was sold?

The bottle isn't mine but someone asked me about it and I can't find much info.

Cheers

being completely honest, if you have to search this hard for information on a 50 year old malt I would politely suggest it cannot be that good.

Possibly LI.

Fairly old bottle, no idea how limited. The phrase "Cuidich 'N Righ" is linked to Dalmore.

I just don't know.

Hi, do you know how it is linked to Dalmore, as the phrase you mention is linked to a Scottish regiment not a whisky?
If this was linked to Dalmore, even loosely trust me we would know about at 50 years old.
The only really vague link is the fact that the Dalmore mackenzie of which there was around 3000 bottle, that garlic phrase it linked to the Mackenzie Clan.

Yes LI. That's pretty much it! That's how little there is out there.

Yes, you absolutely correct about we'd know about the 50yo even pre-boom.

Will try and do some digging locally.
