Looking for a price check on this bottle/box in mint condition.
Not looking to sell at the moment, but just curious what the going rate is for this.

At a recent auction for a bottle of the Macallan 1978 18 year old the bottle sold for Â£2500, i would say that is about the top end price for this bottle at the moment, it could fetch as little as Â£1700, just depends on the bidders when a bottle like this goes to auction.

I will copy what Nimo said but I will add, Given you are in the USA if you want to sell it here you would have to email which ever auction site you wish to use about the cost of getting it back into the UK inc Taxes. That is unless you can sell it in the USA?
