Kilchoman has released their first limited release of 2022, a heavily peated single malt which was fully matured in Madeira hogsheads casks for 5 years and 3 months.

Â£70 for a 5 year whisky seems a pretty steep for me, even in these days of inflated prices?

I have ordered a bottle, if you dont pay you wont taste it, II do like Kilchomans whiskies and this one sounds good.

Opened my bottle of Kilchoman Madeira Cask tonight and have had a few pours and it is as good as you say William, cheers, I may get another bottle with my next order to open at a later date.

I was drinking the Kilchoman Release Madeira Cask Matured over the Easter holidays and I thought it was very good, absolutely agree with your review of it William.
