I attended the Companions of the Quaich dinner the other night in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario and I am a member of this prestiged organization myself. We had a lovely dinner and 3 whiskies which were:
Benriach Original 10 Year
Macaloney's Invermallie Canadian SIngle malt Cask 53 Limited Release
Linkwood 11 Year Single Malts of Scotland. SIngle Cask bottling for Companions of the Quaich, 245 bottles. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Hi Alastair. Yes indeed. Matured in premium recharred Portuguese red wine barriques at 46% abv., NCF, NCA. I scored it 89.5 _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
