Ardbegs Winning Streak Continues

Ardbeg has announced that Ardbeg Corryvreckan has just won two awards: World's Best Single Malt Whisky at the World Whisky Awards and Single Malt of the Year by Malt Advocate Magazine. You can read the press release here:

These awards are well deserved IMO as the Corryvreckan is a great whisky.

Yes well deserved and a great whisky as you say Andy, shame about Ardbegs pricing but about 10-20% higher than i think it should be.

I would say it is my favourite Ardbeg at the moment but you are right Blakey Ardbegs pricing on young no age statement whisky is off putting when deciding what to buy next.

Ardbeg may over charge for its whisky but it does produce quality whisky and the Corryvreckan deserves the awards as IMO it is the best whisky to come out of Ardbeg since the beast it even beats the Supernova and the new Rollercoaster.
