The announcement will be celebrated at the Formula 1 Qatar Airways British Grand Prix 2025 at Silverstone, where Glenmorangie will offer fans a Harrison Ford-inspired photo moment and immersive trackside experiences throughout the weekend.

With over 180 years of whisky-making expertise, Glenmorangie is renowned for its elegant spirit—distilled in Scotland’s tallest stills—and its ongoing pursuit of flavour innovation. As the most awarded Highland single malt, it shares Formula 1's drive for performance, precision, and pushing boundaries. Formula 1, celebrating 75 years in 2025, is the perfect counterpart: a sport rooted in heritage and defined by constant evolution.

In Once Upon a Time in Scotland, Glenmorangie’s new brand film, Ford delivers his signature dry humour and a single-word endorsement of the partnership: "Nice."

During the Silverstone weekend, Glenmorangie will offer fans exclusive cocktails and a chance to sit inside the Eagle Speedster Jaguar E-Type featured in the film—a nod to timeless design and craftsmanship. As a brand committed to promoting only alcohol-free driving, Glenmorangie will continue engaging Formula 1 fans throughout the 2025 season with experiences that celebrate flavour, excellence, and innovation—on and off the track.

Caspar MacRae, President and CEO of Glenmorangie, said: "I am thrilled to set in motion Glenmorangie’s landmark partnership with Formula 1 – the pinnacle of motor racing. We share with F1 a great pride in our heritage and an unstoppable desire to reach new heights of excellence. We look forward to spectacular performances and imaginative serves and hope our collaboration will inspire and excite racegoers throughout Formula 1’s 75th anniversary year – and beyond."

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, said: "As part of our 10-year deal with LVMH, we are delighted to welcome Glenmorangie from the Moët Hennessy Maisons collection as the Official Whisky of Formula 1. We have both been mastering our craft for many years, and we share a commitment to refinement and perfection delivered over time. With our mutual respect for tradition, it is absolutely fitting that we are launching our collaboration at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone - the circuit that hosted our first race 75 years ago - and from there around the world for many years to come."

Glenmorangie The Original 12 Year Old Review

Bottled at 40% ABV.

William Morrison's Tasting Notes:

Nose: A little fruity and floral, sweet creamy vanilla interlaced with delicate sweet citrus notes of orange and some distant peach. A little toffee, a hint of honey and some gentle bourbon oak lurk in the background.

Taste: Vanilla with a lovely gentle spiced edge leads along with some lovely orange citrus, a little toasted oak and honey and a wee touch of Demerara sugar sweetened coconut ice. The slightest wee bit of a honeyed edge and late touch of peach and almond.

Finish: Deliciously long, mild barley sugar sweetness interlaced with gentle oak spice, creamy vanilla and orange citrus which all slowly fade out to leave some gentle, slightly drying, lingering honey and almond.

Comment: The extra 2 years maturation has given the whisky a slightly more bourbon like edge, a touch more oak and gentle spice, still full of Glenmorangie's signature orange citrus and vanilla, every bit as good and more as the 10 year old it replaces and without a doubt the new Glenmorangie 12 Year Old will be a my go to whisky now the 10 has gone. Still a top quality whisky for you money.
