Glen Moray
unites Scotland's whisky and golf.

As golf season
continues in full swing, Speyside
distiller Glen Moray is celebrating its
ongoing partnership with the ISPS Handa
Senior Open Championship, Europe’s only
senior major, secured through 2026.
This collaboration highlights the shared
traditions, excellence, and worldwide
appeal of both whisky and golf—two
crafts steeped in heritage and skill.
Glen Moray first joined forces with the
prestigious tournament in 2024, linking
Scotland’s national spirit with its
national sport.
The 2025 ISPS Handa Senior Open
Championship welcomed 24,000 fans to
Sunningdale, where legends of the game
aged 50 and above competed as part of
the renowned Legends Tour.
In the Championship Village, Glen Moray
delivered a taste of Speyside with a
premium whisky experience. Guests
enjoyed its award-winning single
malts—including the Explorer, Heritage,
Xperience, and Warehouse 1
ranges—alongside a fresh highball menu
designed to surprise and delight.
Iain Allan, Global Brand Ambassador for
Glen Moray, said: "We’re proud to
continue our partnership with The ISPS
Handa Senior Open as the Official Whisky
- a collaboration that celebrates the
shared spirit of tradition, skill, and
enjoyment at the heart of both Glen
Moray and the game of golf.
"At Glen Moray, we’ve been perfecting
Speyside single malts for over 125
years. Like golf, our whisky is about
passion, patience, and bringing people
together. This partnership is a toast to
those connections - on the course, at
the clubhouse, and wherever great
moments are shared."
Beyond the fairways, Glen Moray hosted
whisky tastings, exclusive hospitality,
and a popular chipping challenge,
inviting visitors to discover whisky in
unexpected ways while enjoying one of
senior golf’s most prestigious stages.
This year also saw the launch of A
Classic Round with…, a new film series
from Glen Moray spotlighting the
personalities behind the sport. The
debut episode features Iain Allan in
conversation with Sunningdale’s
legendary caddie Rorrie Brown, whose
stories of intuition and dedication
mirror the quiet craftsmanship behind
Glen Moray’s whisky.
The distiller also teamed up with
American professional golfer Mario S.
Tiziani, who appeared in another episode
of A Classic Round with…, exploring the
ties between whisky and golf. More
episodes are planned, continuing to
celebrate the deep-rooted heritage of
Scotland’s national sport and spirit.
You will find the current Glen Moray whisky range available from specialist online whisky
