In honour of
International Womens Day, the Glenturret
distillery is set to auction a bottle of
its 12 Year Old single malt adorned with
a one-of-a-kind whisky label featuring
the names of their 33 female staff
behind the whisky they produce. All
proceeds from the auction will go to The
Prince’s Trust Women Supporting Women
initiative.

Being the oldest
working distillery in Scotland, The
Glenturret has a history dating back to
1763, and throughout its history, it has
been fortunate to have employed many
outstanding women. Presently, the
distillery takes pride in its team of 33
talented and devoted female staff
members spanning various departments
including production, the
Michelin-starred kitchen, visitor
centre, marketing, and office roles.
These exceptional women represent
approximately 50% of the driving force
behind The Glenturret’s offerings today.
In honour of this year's International
Women’s Day, The Glenturret has embarked
on a special initiative. Teaming up with
Edinburgh-based Graphic Designer Amy
Jacobs, the brand has designed a unique,
one-of-a-kind whisky label featuring the
names of all 33 female employees. This
distinctive label will grace a bottle of
The Glenturret 12 Year Old 2023 release,
to be auctioned by Whisky Auctioneer in
April, with the proceeds of the auction
benefiting The Prince’s Trust Women
Supporting Women initiative.
The Prince’s Trust Women Supporting
Women initiative, established in 2018,
is dedicated to empowering young women
facing disadvantage and adversity. It
aims to transform their lives through
support focused on building confidence,
providing job opportunities, education,
and training.
You will find the current Glenturret whisky range available from specialist online whisky
shops such as
