Whisky in
the sky takes Grant’s to another level.
As part of The Grant’s ‘Discover a
different angle’ campaign, several
whisky tastings took place 40 metres in
the air above the Southbank, London last
week. Three of the award winning Grant’s
Blended Scotch whiskies - Family
Reserve, Ale cask, Sherry cask - were
nosed and tasted by guests under the
guidance of Grant's Master Blender Brian
Kinsman and Global Brand Ambassador Ludo
Ducrocq.
James Stocker, Marketing Controller for
Premium Dark Spirits at First Drinks,
commented: "Hosting a whisky tasting in
the sky was a perfect way to demonstrate
our brand campaign – quite literally -
and celebrate its success to date. It
has been another great year for Grant’s
and we still have more exciting
marketing activity taking place over the
next couple of months to further boost
the brand in the run up to the all
important Christmas sales period."
On his inaugural outing as celebrity
ambassador for Grant’s, TV chef Nick
Nairn joined the trade for the open air
tasting. Nick commented: “Being a Scot,
I am proud to be involved with an iconic
Scottish brand with a heritage as strong
as Grant’s.”
