Hudson
launches City Kits in selected UK bars.

Some of you will already be aware
that
William Grant & Sons’ own the American whiskey
brand, Hudson which is produced at the
small Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery in
Gardiner, New York and is the first
first whiskey distillery in New York
State since Prohibition. The artisan
distillery has received some good praise
from the whisky community since it was
established back in 2001 and William
Grant & Sons who now own the distillery has announced
a campaign to bring more awareness to
the brand here in the UK with the launch
of the Hudson City Kit.
The campaign has been developed to boost
the brand’s profile and build awareness
of the range of Hudson whiskies which
includes Hudson’s Baby Bourbon, Four Grain and
Manhattan Rye variants.
The Hudson brand
team is encouraging selected bars to
experiment with the spirit themselves by
launching the exclusive kits, which
include a three litre barrel, a barrel
ageing cocktail kit, water droppers,
prohibition newspapers, Basement Bitters
and Tuthilltown bourbon barrel matured
maple syrup.
The Hudson City Kits will be made
available throughout May in London,
Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow and
will be delivered by European Brand
Ambassador, Tony Vanaria. Bartenders
will be given background information on
Hudson and help to set the kits up to
begin creating their own range of
serves.
Hudson whiskey, produced at America’s
first legal distillery in New York since
prohibition ended has seen huge
popularity with bartenders throughout
