Distillers announce “Whisky Unscripted”
podcast and Tamdhu tastings.

Ian Macleod Distillers are lightening up the
COVID-19 lockdown for their
whisky fans with the launch of a new
podcast titled Whisky Unscripted, as
well as a live Facebook tasting of
Tamdhu’s finest range with Distillery
Manager, Sandy McIntyre.
Launching at 12pm on Wednesday 8th April
2020, Whisky Unscripted will be hosted
by Global Brand Ambassador, Gordon
Dundas, and Experiential Ambassador,
Gordon Dallas, offering a fun and
informative guide to the whisky
industry.
The duo will be speaking to a variety of
exciting and knowledgeable guests,
including the makers of Glengoyne and
Tamdhu, as well as writers, foodies and
personalities from around the world.
Through its ownership of the Glengoyne,
Tamdhu and Rosebank distilleries as well
as the Smokehead, Sheep Dip, and Pig’s
Nose brands, Ian Macleod Distillers are
uniquely placed to offer real insight
into the world of whisky.
With plenty of regular features,
challenges and the chance for fans and
listeners to send in questions directly
through the Glengoyne or Tamdhu
Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages,
Whisky Unscripted promises to be an
entertaining and educational listen.
Meanwhile, the team at Tamdhu have
announced that on 7pm on Tuesday 14th
April, Distillery Manager, Sandy
MacIntyre will host an exclusive
Facebook Live tasting of four of the
finest whiskies that Tamdhu has to offer
- Tamdhu 12, 15, Batch Strength 004 and
their Distillery Manager’s Single Cask,
which was recently crowned World’s Best
Single Cask Whisky at World Whiskies
Awards 2020.
The live tasting will be co-hosted by
Tamdhu International Brand ambassador,
Gordon Dundas, who will guide viewers
through some of the finest
‘sherry-bombs’ Speyside has to offer.
As well as scooping the coveted ‘World’s
Best Single Cask, Single Malt Whisky’,
Tamdhu also secured two Gold
commendations in the ‘Single Malt Scotch
Speyside’ category for Batch Strength
No. 004 and Dalbeallie II in the ‘No Age
Statement’ division, all of which are

During this challenging time, £1 from
