Jura has
unveiled their Fčis Ěle 2025 bottling, a
single cask release—Cask No. 1895—a 17
Year Old single malt matured in a single
Oloroso Sherry butt Cask No. 1895. A
release of only 300 bottles which will
be available exclusively at the
distillery on 30th May.
If you're fortunate enough to be
attending Fčis Ěle 2025 on Islay & Jura, you'll
be pleased to hear that Jura has
announced a special release for the
occasion. The Jura Fčis Ěle 2025
bottling will be available exclusively
at the distillery, making it a must-have
for festival visitors.
This year, Jura is offering a
limited-edition single cask release—Cask
No. 1895—a 17 Year Old single malt
which was distilled on the 12th
September 2007 matured in a single Oloroso Sherry butt
Cask No. 1895 and bottled this month on
the 3rd May 2025 especially for Fčis Ěle
2025.
Bottled at a cask strength of 55.3% ABV,
there will only be only 300
bottles available, priced at
Ł135 each. It's a rare opportunity to
own a unique piece of the festival,
which draws whisky enthusiasts from
around the world to celebrate the rich
whisky heritage of Islay and Jura.
Jura distillery's day of the 2025
festival falls on 30th May, when Jura will welcome visitors
to its scenic beachside distillery with
a full day of events including
distillery tours, tastings, live music,
cocktails, and boat trips along the
island’s stunning coastline.
To commemorate the 2025 festival, this
exclusive bottling will be sold only to
those who make the journey to Jura
during Fčis Ěle—a fitting tribute to the
spirit of the island and its
whisky-making tradition.

available to those that join us for our
whisky festival. This release celebrates
a different take on Jura’s fruity and
balanced flavours, ideal to share with
friends and family."
Joe Ricketts, Whisky Maker, explained:
"For this year’s Fčis Ěle single cask
release we’ve revisited a standout 2007
vintage parcel. In 2022 the whisky
making and distillery teams selected
#1892, a bold, rich oloroso butt which
explored a different side to Jura’s
distillery character.
"With an additional three years
maturation, #1895 builds on the
complexity of our 2022 Fčis Ěle release,
with notes of crystallised citrus, prune
and hazelnut together with hints of
polished leather and dark chocolate from
its full-course Sherry maturation."
There are a few tickets still remaining
for this year’s Feis Ile celebration on
Jura, which can be purchased via the
Jura distillery website.
