Calling all
creative UK bartenders, Kilchoman
distillery has launched its annual
UK-wide cocktail competition 'Shake The
Farm 2025', and they
are asking you to get creative.
 Kilchoman Distillery is once again
inviting bartenders from across the UK
to take on the challenge of crafting a
cocktail that highlights one of their
core range whiskies alongside a standout
ingredient sourced from British farms.
As Islay’s sole farm distillery,
Kilchoman is deeply rooted in the land,
producing whisky that honours local
provenance and craftsmanship. Building
on this heritage, they are proud to
launch this year’s “Shake the Farm”
cocktail competition, celebrating the
bond between whisky and agriculture.
The competition offers participants the
chance to win an all-expenses-paid,
hands-on apprenticeship at the
distillery. The grand prize includes the
selection of an exclusive single cask
bottling, with six bottles to take home,
and the honor of having their cocktail
featured as Kilchoman’s official drink
during Fèis Ìle 2025.
There is a set of easy rules to follow:

 Cocktails
must contain a minimum of 25ml of
Kilchoman Machir Bay, Sanaig or
Batch Strength.
- The recipe must contain one UK
farmed ingredient.
- Creations must be easy to
replicate and made using tools and
ingredients commonly found in bars.
- Drinks must not contain more
than 6 ingredients (excluding
garnish).
- The use of homemade ingredients
is greatly encouraged but not
necessary.
- Entries must be submitted before
23rd March 2025 at midnight.
