Beam Suntory
celebrates 100 years of Suntory whisky
with an activation at Frankfurt Airport and to mark
the milestone, the House of Suntory has
introduced a series of exclusive,
limited-edition whiskies that showcase
the exceptional Japanese craftsmanship
found in Suntory's whisky distilleries.

In collaboration with Frankfurt Media
and Gebr. Heinemann, Beam Suntory has
joined forces to craft an exclusive
pop-up at Frankfurt Airport in
commemoration of the House of Suntory's
100th anniversary, marking a century of
pioneering Japanese spirits.
This high-profile activation is
currently underway at Frankfurt Airport
T1, situated in the Level 2 Pier B-West
Non-Schengen Departure area, and will be
running from January 5th to January
31st.
As part of the global travel retail
celebration for the House of Suntory's
centennial milestone, which commenced in
May last year, various limited-edition
whiskies have been introduced,
complemented by a series of captivating
airport pop-ups and impactful
advertising campaigns.
The Frankfurt Airport pop-up proudly
showcases limited-edition offerings,
including specially designed 100th
anniversary bottles of the flagship
Yamazaki 12 Year Old (RRP €223) and the
Hibiki Master Select (RRP €94).
Additionally, the activation spotlights
the broader Suntory portfolio, featuring
Chita Grain Whisky, Toki Whisky, AO
World Whisky, Roku Japanese Gin, and
Haku Japanese Craft Vodka.
Spanning 20 square metres, the Frankfurt
activation exudes a light, airy
ambiance, characterised by the use of
tactile natural materials. Interactive
digital touchpoints within the space
illuminate the rich history and heritage
of Japanese whisky-making, showcasing
the unique elements that contribute to
its exceptional character. Travellers
are encouraged to explore the narratives
and origins of key Suntory luxury whisky
collections, while Specialist Brand
Ambassadors provide guided tastings of
Hibiki and Toki whisky, along with Roku
gin.
"We are delighted to unveil the final
airport activation celebrating the House
of Suntory’s landmark centennial
anniversary," noted Beam Suntory Brand
Marketing Director Global Travel Retail
Manuel Gonzalez.
"The Frankfurt pop-up allows us to
highlight the unique Japanese
craftmanship at Suntory’s whisky
distilleries – and their meticulous art
of blending – while further building
awareness of Suntory’s extensive premium
drinks portfolio. I’m confident that
these collectible whiskies will resonate
strongly with the location’s discerning
whisky clientele, and really elevate the
passenger experience."
Bastian-Philipp Müller, Head of Buying
Spirits at Gebr. Heinemann added: "This
flagship activation is a genuine
embodiment of Japanese Spirits culture
at Frankfurt Airport, promising an
unforgettable experience for travellers
who look for the extraordinary in travel
retail. We take great pride in
