Tamdhu has
announced the next instalment of its
Batch Strength Series.
 Tamdhu has announced the release of
the next instalment of its big bold,
100% sherry oak cask matured Batch
Strength series, the Tamdhu Batch
Strength 5, this latest edition weighs
in at 59.8% ABV and as usual it is un-chillfiltered
and naturally coloured.
100% matured in Oloroso sherry seasoned
casks from the bodegas of Jerez, Spain,
on the nose it is described as having "a
subtle waft of warm vanilla, followed by
cinnamon spice and roasted brazil nuts.
The luxurious, thick mouthfeel is
complimented by sharp summer berries
cutting through rich double cream". r>

Manager, commented on the latest
instalment in the series, saying: "After
a multi-award-winning year for No. 004,
I know Batch Strength No.005 will
impress everyone who samples it – with
its complex richness, deep intensity and
long, rewarding finish.

Official Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Brazil nuts, Cinnamon and the waft of
warm vanilla pods.
Taste:
Double cream swirled with sharp summer
berries. A drop of water reveals citrus
notes, oak and freshly baked cookies.
Finish:
Warming spices swell, yielding to the
crisp sweetness of Clementine zest.
