Heathrow Airport exclusive Single Cask
whisky now available online.
 Tamdhu Single Malt Scotch Whisky has
announced that its Heathrow Airport
Single Cask will be available to buy
online, via the Tamdhu website.
The Speyside distiller has decided to
ring fence the remaining bottles for
online purchase, giving non-travellers
and those who have been affected by
travel disruptions an opportunity to
sample the airport exclusive single
cask.
The first-fill American Oak Oloroso
sherry cask whisky was distilled in
September 2003 and bottled in June 2019.
Hand-picked by members of the Dufry team
from a shortlist of five exceptional
casks, the Tamdhu Single Cask was
bottled at cask strength – 57.1% ABV.
The 15 Year Old whisky boasts a deep
mahogany colour with a rich and
luxurious nose of shortbread, honey and
chocolate raisins. It is balanced and
silky on the palate, with cream sherry,
apricot and subtle hints of spice. The
long, rewarding finish brings dried
fruit, biscuit and aged sherry.

bringing the excellent Heathrow Airport
Single Cask to a wider audience. The
limited release will be available to
customers through the Tamdhu website,
alongside the award-winning Edinburgh
Airport Single Cask.
"The exclusively sherry oak matured dram
elegantly showcases the craft of the
entire distillery team here at Tamdhu,
so I know that our friends and family
will appreciate the opportunity to taste
it."
Earlier this year, the Edinburgh Airport
Single Cask expression was crowned as
‘Category Winner’ in the 13 to 20 Years’
Single Cask, Single Malt Scotch category
at the World Whiskies Awards 2020.
