folks at Douglas Laing have announced
a forthcoming festive themed
release - Timorous Beastie 16 Year Old The Winter
Edition.

is a wee winter warmer for you from
Douglas Laing, Timorous Beastie 16 Year
Old Winter Edition, a limited edition
batch of only 400 bottles which will be
available exclusively from the www.douglaslaing.com from this coming
Monday 4th November.
The Timorous Beastie 16 Year Old Winter
Edition Highland blended malt Scotch
whisky was matured exclusively in a
Spanish Sherry butt and has been bottled
at 45.1% ABV and as we have come to
expect from Douglas Laing it is without
colouring or chill-filtration, the
tasting notes for this unique release
include Christmas cake, blood oranges
and ginger.
Presented in a clear bottle to showcase the naturally dark spirit inside, with a
festive-themed and foiled label. Each
bottle is presented in a canvas, printed
bag, rendering Timorous Beastie Winter
Edition the perfect Christmas gift for a
whisky loving friend or indeed for
yourself!

Bottled at 45.1% ABV.
Producer's Tasting Notes:
Nose: The nose reveals cocoa and
orange zest with a touch of cinnamon and
nutmeg.
Taste: The palate brings raisins,
chocolate, Christmas cake and sweet
stewed fruits.
Finish:
The finish lingers with blood oranges
and crystallised ginger.
